Jessie Dryden
Jessie is excited to have recently joined SoulForce after taking Micaya’s dance classes and performing in her 2007 Mission in the Mix show.  Jessie has loved to dance since the first days of watching Janet Jackson videos on MTV. Over the past 15 years, she has taken technique classes in hip hop, jazz, and various styles of African dance. She was formally trained for 3 years in Umfundalai, a technique that incorporates African and modern dance. She spent 4 years dancing and choreographing for Rhythm N Motion, a college-level dance company that focuses on genres from the African diaspora. She continues to take classes in hip hop, Latin, and African dance and hopes to grow as a dancer through her experiences with SoulForce.
